The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore boosts a collection of over 4,200 pieces of art and about 50 of these pieces are counted as 'museum quality'- sculptures by Frank Stella, Dale Chihuly and John Rose stand alongside prints and paintings by Andy Warhol, Sam Francis and David Hockney

A passionate hotelier, Peter Mainguy possesses more than 25 years of hospitality experience; 16 of which were spent holding key appointments including that of General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai and The Ritz-Carlton, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, before moving to helm The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore in 2008.

Under his outstanding leadership, the hotel has clinched numerous accolades over the years including the prestigious "Best Employer Singapore" by Aon Hewitt for nine consecutive years. Most recently, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore was recognized as the "Top Hotel in Singapore" in the 2017 Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards. The hotel's Cantonese restaurant, Summer Pavilion, also garnered One Michelin Star in the 2016 and 2017 Michelin Guide Singapore.

Mainguy's foray into the hospitality industry began in room service at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Brussels, Belgium. His career progression in Sales and Marketing took him throughout Sub-Sahara Africa with Sheraton Management Corporation; Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel and Resort; Le Royal Meridien, Bahrain; Conrad International Cairo and the One & Only Royal Mirage, Dubai.

A charismatic presenter, Mainguy was certified as a Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center Ambassador for its Legendary Service Program in 2007. This was developed to meet a growing demand from organizations requesting a speaking engagement or benchmarking program. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Husson College in Bangor, Maine, Mainguy was also on the Judicial Board, Sergeant at Arms – Sigma CHI Fraternity. Counting dirt bike racing as a professional hobby, Mainguy actively participates in various motocross and desert "Baja" endurance races as a fully sponsored rider with the Middle East KTM Team out of Dubai, with many podium finishes under his belt.
