Pallavi is the founder and creative force behind Pallavi Dean Interiors. PDI is a boutique design consultancy with an award-winning portfolio. The company’s mission is to create great experiences through design! The firm has an international portfolio spanning three continents, flagship projects include flagship projects include the Paramount Residences, Edelman HQ and Sheraa Entrepreneurship Center. Pallavi is a trained architect and sustainability specialist, she’s won multiple awards for work across a range of sectors including commercial, hospitality and residential. She was born in India, raised in Dubai and spent years working in London; her designs reflect these eclectic influences. A former professor of interior design at the American University of Sharjah , she strives to implement the latest theoretical and practical research into the firm’s designs.  Pallavi debuted as a product designer at this Dubai Downtown Design 2016. 'Tension' is a line of furniture that documents her design journey to date. The lights are now a part of the Preciosa Lighting International Catalogue. The Collection also won the Harpers Bazaar Design Award in 2016. Firm bio : PDI is a Dubai-based interior design studio. Since launching in 2013 it’s built anaward-winning international portfolio spanning four sectors: hospitality, commercial, residential and education.Flagship projects include the Edelman head office in Abu Dhabi, the Sheraa entrepreneurship centre at the American University of Sharjah, and the forthcoming Delano Dubai hotel.PDI is a homegrown success story. Half the eight-strong team at the studio in Dubai Design District – including Pallavi – studied in the UAE. In September 2017 the firm won Boutique Interior Design Firm of the Year at the Middle East Commercial Interior Design Awards.The team strives to support the local design community by teaching university courses, a mentoring programme for interns, and collaborating with international brands at regional design fairs.
