Dr Pradeep Sharma is the Director of Arts|Culture|Heritage at the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, United Arab Emirates, where he oversees the development of emerging cultural and creative practitioners for the Foundation. Art and design are seen as fundamental components of the innovation ecosystem and play an important role in the stimulation of new ideas or new technologies and the process of transformation. Prior to coming to the UAE Dr. Sharma was the Provost at Rhode Island School of Design and Professor of Design and Innovation. His interest areas are in the role of complexity thinking and creativity in groups - how collectives form, the development and socialization of ideas.
