Astrid Hill is the President and Founder of Monticule Art Advisory, which provides art advisory services to private collectors, specializing in both the primary and secondary market.  She serves as Vice President and Director of Programming at the Hill Art Foundation in New York City, a non-profit organization founded with the goal of expanding the relationship between art and the viewer and dedicated to providing access to art through rotating exhibitions and ongoing arts education programs. At the Hill Art Foundation she is also Curator for Emerging Artists, such as Sarah Crowner, Mika Tajima, Sam Moyer, and N. Dash, which the Hill family and the Foundation collect in depth. She is a co-chair of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Apollo Circle group, a dynamic group of young patrons of the arts who enjoy exclusive access to the museum. She is a member of the International Director’s Council (IDC) at the Guggenheim Museum, a group of contemporary collectors and art enthusiasts from all over the world that assist in expanding and strengthening the museum’s art collection in all media. She is also a member of the New Art Dealers Association (NADA) as well as Independent Curators International (ICI). She is author of “We Love Collecting…” a column she wrote for ArtNews about different genres of the art of emerging artists. Astrid received a BA from Brown University and received her Master of Arts from Christie’s Education in the History of Art and the Art Market: Modern and Contemporary.
